Kovalev retiring now would be along those lines. Too soon to retire. And no, Ward didn't take his soul. That's pure b.s.

He could make a few million over the next half dozen or so fights, going against elites or near elites. There's Stevenson, Cleverly rematch, Braehmer, Joe Smith Jr., Barrera, maybe even Beterbiev. And he would win all or most of them. Remove the Ward b.s. from the mind and move on. That's yesterday's b.s.

You make some good points. I doubt he'll ever get roped into another Diva Ward type fight contract again, but yes he does need to listen better to whoever the (quality) trainer is.
Who do you think would be a good trainer for him???

    Roach? He's good for offense.

    Abel??

I would like to see him with Robert Garcia personally. He made 1 dimensional Maidana into a MONSTER!!!

Garcia would likely be the best IMO. Reason being, he's a very talented trainer, but more importantly, he doesn't coddle his fighters, because he doesn't have to. So he wouldn't put up with any hardheadedness from Sergey. Sergey will end up like Chad Dawson if he doesn't start listening and following instructions, and Garcia would make him tow the line, or leave. Sergey has too much untapped talent to go bonkers and quit now. And he should know that.

Don't quit fighting Sergey use your brains and make some easy big money, go and challenge the Irish Gorilla to a cage fight, with 4 ounce gloves 6mths training to defend take downs you will kill that powder puff at his own game, one good shot from a real Krusher and Connor is unconscious.

The Irish Gorilla was supposed to be a massive puncher lol, he cant bruise a g**** when in with an elite boxer half his size, Krusher kills Connor no doubt about it.
