I have nothing against him personally, but why was he given a #1 ranking in the WBC? He did NOT hold a WBC title at 154, and should his win over the untested Williams at 154 really move him past Jacobs, Lemieux, Derevyanchenko, Korobov, and Lee in the 160 ratings??
Great point! There needs to be more objectivity and uniformity in the rankings.

      He's 11-0. He doesn't deserve his ranking.

What should his rank be then? Should Johnson remain #1 despite losing, and if not, who should benefit from Darvechenkos (or however it's spelled) work?

Jacobs, Lemieux, and Charlo off the top of my head all rank above him. His ranking is absurd.

Yes and he earned it! Last 3 Fights Sam Soliman, Kahmai Russell and Tuereno Johnson, that is actually not bad at all. He fought who the IBF put in front of him and earn his Title Shot!

Have a problem with his Ranking you can contact IBF President Daryl Peoples!

I agree with this (well, maybe not Charlo 100% because hes new to 160, bit hes a champ moving up), those guys should have been ranked above Johnson to begin with. I guess my point of view is that he may not 'deserve' it, but he certainly earned it by beating their #1

I don't fault the fighter. The IBF rankings are just terrible.

He didn't earn ****. Sam Soliman, really. WTH... He fought who who he had to in terms of the IBF, but this is how young fighters or fighters who start late get rushed into beatings.
