He will be beaten until he quits. That will be not much, he's a quitter.
How badly will Conor be beaten up tomorrow?

If he doesn't quit and his team don't retire him he's probably leaving the ring in a stretcher because although Floyd isn't a hard hitter, he's consistent and accurate. Another possibility is that he'll take a count, get up just after 10, and claim he didn't hear the count properly. This will give him an angle to levy for a rematch and MMA fans an angle to complain about a confused and indecisive ending to the fight.Comment

It all depends on what Conor McGregor's skills actually are
If he's got actual ability, he'll likely be able to hang tough for the fight, and stay alright until his cardio fails him; his corner will look after him, but they'll likely try their best to get him to that final bell.
If he's shown to not have actual ability, be ready for Floyd to have things figured out before the end of the first round, before laying a beating on McGregor that recalls Floyd's virtuoso performance against Arturo "Thunder" Gatti; his corner will look after him, and likely stop the fight by the 4th/5th round to not see McGregor ruined as a fighter.
Can't foresee a situation where his corner (Roddy/Kavanaugh) leaves him in there to take a sustained beating, especially knowing that they were the team who developed him.Comment

I don't think it'll be too bad. Floyd's incredibly accurate so his face is going to look an absolute mess but he's not concussive so it'll be superficial.Comment

I think we can all take a fair guess about McGregor's boxing skills...so he gains nothing by trying to show them off.If he's got actual ability, he'll likely be able to hang tough for the fight, and stay alright until his cardio fails him; his corner will look after him, but they'll likely try their best to get him to that final bell.

He's losing anyways, might as well just go out like McNeely did against Tyson, or Ortiz did against Mayweather, basically try to jump him early and get some rough stuff going.
Not that he'll do anything that'll lead to a DQ, but enough to draw some warnings/lose a point....elbows, headbutt, punches to the hips.
He's gassing out eventually, anyways, might as well take an approach that at least makes it somewhat entertaining.
Once he starts fading, which may be early, Mayweather can outbox him a bit....and then McGregor's corner and toss in the towel.
It's a more entertaining approach than just trying to freaking box with someone he has no business boxing.Comment

I'm predicting a corner stoppage before the 9th. McQuitter will be getting beat bad, I see it being kinda like the Gatti fight but not quite the highlight reel that was, basically a slower version of that fight. Floyd's gonna make him quit.Comment

Mayweather-McGregor in the UFC only becomes a quick fight if McGregor (with his skills in the department less than his other tools), grapples Floyd to the ground.
Boxer versus kickboxer/Muay Thai boxer, in a fight where the Thai boxer insists on the fight being kept in the feet, is far more competitive than folks want to acknowledge.
Just look at the Diaz brothers; their BJJ is obviously world level, and the judo/grappling game has also gotten really good, but their striking on the feet has been largely kept to really good boxing and Muay Thai on the clinches.
Their style gives up the lead leg low kick, but the instances of them getting beat on in stand-up fights are nil.
Would Conor really just try to 'Randy Couture' the fight were Floyd to ever actually go over to MMA? For all of the talk he's done, I doubt the combat sports audience (nevermind the hardcore MMA audience) would stand for that.Comment

Expect McGregor to literally run towards Floyd as soon as the bell rings. He does this in the UFC most of the time and immediately presents himself. I guess it's a psychological move, to get right in front right away, literally in 1 second. Doesn't mean he'll volume punch, never been his style, but he'll be right there right in range. This is my only concern for Floyd, those first early seconds, maybe of the first 3 rounds but particularly the first round. I know McGregor is incredible in forcing his presence on someone. Granted, this time he in no way has the psychological hold on his opponent, though he may believe it just because Floyd said he'll actually move forward from the start. If Floyd remains 5 steps ahead like always, McGregor should be taken apart quickly.Comment
