But I was addressing your Haymon point. He's been putting his top guys through the gauntlet lately. Just look at the records of his best fighters. It's amazing to me that Yvon has protected Stevenson from it.
Haymon has no choice but to match his top fighters against one another now. He lost $500M in three years while putting on mismatches with PBC. He tried to build household names of his undefeated champions but fell short. In the last year he has had to make these fights because networks won't pay for any more Garcia/Salka type fights. He has to make sure he can put asses in seats if he wants fights at Barclays and other big venues.

Haymon promised high-reward/low-risk fights to whoever signed with him. Just look at the path of his top fighter's careers under him. Floyd is now doing the same thing with Gervonta Davis.

Where's Kovalev? Someone call 911! There needs to be an APB for Kathy Duva and Sergey Kovalev! I think that HBO contract is becoming a noose around Kov's neck!

Hahahaha. I love his phrasing. 'Not sure if mutual' is a very polite way of saying 'dude's ducking everything'.

Stevenson had a chance to be relevant but he made his choices and now no one cares what he does.

Although I feel Alvarez earned his shot, I wish Stevenson was fighting Ward next. Now that Ward is not under contract with HBO, he has a small window to fight the PBC LHWs: Stevenson, Beterbiev, Browne, and Jack. I wish Ward would fight anyone of those guys next! If HBO re-signs him, I doubt it will ever happen! Do you think Ward is signing with Top Rank?

Yes I think Ward goes to Top Rank. My guess is Gvozdyk or Cleverly then Bieterbiev. I wish it was Stevenson next too but he is a complete waste IMO now.

I understand all the Kov garbage but since then he has fought bum after bum and I stopped watching him. If he fights Ward next, I will watch. Maybe I will watch if he fights Alvarez next.

I would like that matchup Jack vs Stevenson. I don't think Jack can handle the power. But I'd rather see Stevenson vs Ward that's what really needs to happen. Not Tony Bellew and Ward.

Regardless of all of this (none of it is relevant to your claim and it can't be substantiated by any credible or objective source), your point wasn't accurate. Haymon's guys aren't being protected (just Stevenson). They're fighting any name they can get. Even Davis has had two good opponents for his last two fights. He's only 22 and has already beat an internationally decorated professional title holder, and took on a challenger in his backyard in the UK. That's not easy to do at that age.

I don't think he's answering the questions about Loma right (makes him look bad), but he's been putting in great work so far. Most people on this thread claimed the Pedraza fight was too soon for him. Now y'all try to act like it was a cherry pick. Can't have it both ways.

Stevenson is a unique case of not wanting to challenge himself. Facts show everybody else out there is taking risk or trying to. (There are guys like Wilder and Linares that we could argue about)

I actually think Alvarez can beat him. I think he's a better "boxer." However, Stevenson still has that one-punch power! I just would hate to see 175 disintegrate into HBO/ESPN/PBC camps, with no one fighting each other due to TV contracts! It might be too late to stop that train!

Stevenson/Ward, from Montreal, on either ESPN or SHO is the next logical fight so that means we will of course not be getting it.

I hope Alvarez wins if for no other reason than the increased possibility of a unification fight.
