    Mayweather mentality

So he wants to unify the titles just not Loma,he'd rather wait till Loma's past his best, like Mayweather did with several fighters in the second half of his career ,maximum profit for minimum risk, greatness comes from sometimes taking great risks

He says nobody from 140 down can beat him but he's not asking for that fight. He's asking for Rigo, which is still a good fight, but in the spirit of this topic. Why isn't he begging Arum to fight Crawford? He's not ready!
I can't remember who it was, but someone recently once you become a champion, you should be ready for any challenge (within reason).

Let's be real about it, boxing is a business. These guys do it to maximize their earnings, so whether I agree with it or not, some fighters will pass on certain fights, for bigger money fights.

When that option is not readily available though, it's fair to question a guy's motives.

Lomachenko stops Davis. Yea, the fight won't make your career, but could end it.

Yep. The one he said couldn't beat him.

That's just saying Errol Spence should fight Gennady Golovkin and then admitting he can't beat him.

Davis should've came out and said that he simply doesn't have the necessary experience right now to assist in putting on a complete show against Loma!

Should've said, he wants to fight other solid fighters to learn more and improve and then take on Loma since both will be around each other's weight for their whole career most likely!

I see the fight happening but at 135 when Davis is 25 or 26, he'll be in his prime and likely a better fighter!

It's in Lemonchenko's best interest to fight a green 22 year old Tank Davis vs a experienced prime 25 year Tank Davis who likely will have a better resume!

This young man Davis just needs more time to mature and learn things in the gym with Floyd... nothing more... I would say he would be ready in 18 months but by then Lomo will be at a higher weight...
