If he is doing this to try and get Joshua to vacate hes made a mistake. Looking very likely Wilder actually is fighting Ortiz. Just hope we don't get stuck with Joshua/Whyte 2 or Takam, which I can only see happening in such a short space of time.

The question is really Pulev could fight in the end of November. He was preparing for Klitschko fight almost a year. Not seeing this fight happen, so IBF will intervene and most likely remove Pulev from the rankings.

I think skipping Pulev for Ortiz in Oct. should be given the go ahead if Pulev is declining the date. I think 2 months is a completely fair time frame to be given to train for a title fight. Hell I think 6 weeks is good enough of a heads up for a title fight when you already know you got next or you are in a begger not a chooser situation as all challengers for a belt ultimately are.

If you need more time & know you got next you should be training already any damn way if you need extra time just be going a lil light til you got a date so to not overtrain. And I mean does this mfer wanna train hard for 4mos?!?!?! LOL. Or did he get big between fights & he's gotta do a fat camp + a training camp or something like that I wonder?

Respect Pulev as a fighter, but this is silly bs & he should take the Oct. date or Ortiz gets it + Pulev can start training in Oct. for a Feb. date or whatever he needs to do.
