As I stated in my initial post, they screwed Kubrat Pulev wasted his time, now he is in the drivers seat with the IBF's ruling and will not be rushed. Its only fair.

I'm having a proper training camp see you around December!'

Yes thats right hoe! DECEMBER AND I QUOTE:

Shortly after, the IBF Board of Directors was advised that the issue had been resolved between the parties with the following conditions:

          1. If Wladimir Klitschko is unavailable for the rematch on October 28, 2017, the fight shall be staged no later than December 2, 2017.

You realise the difference between October 28 and December 2 is little over 1 month right?

An that Pulev has mentioned talks started 2 weeks ago to fight October 28 but he wants a minimum of 3-4 months to prepare... 4 months from 2 weeks ago is past the date that you've quoted the IBF saying they have until to fight.

Whats the problem? theres plenty of time according to the IBF : why cant Joshua wait an extra month considering hes made Pulev wait over a year? Pulev's mandatory was due since January 9, 2017, eight months later August 25 the jokers at Matchroom Eddie Hearn and Anthony Joshua are crying because they cant ask for anymore favors from the IBF boo hoo!

The IBF found out today that Klitschko has retired. Therefore, under the conditions of the exception, Joshua must fight the IBF mandatory defense next," stated IBF Championships Chairman Lindsey Tucker.

"The leading available contender is #2, Kubrat Pulev. Negotiations should start immediately and be concluded by September 3, 2017. If you are unable to reach an agreement by September 3, 2017, the IBF will call for a purse bid to determine who will promote the bout, when and where."

Sorry Joshua fan boys, rules are rules, go on and tell your boy to drop his belt! but fight Ortiz instead of Deontay Wilder.

He can and he should... but Pulev there is talking about fighting later than the deadline stipulated by the IBF. That isn't gonna fly because as you say; rules are rules.

IMO Pulev is somehow trying to force AJ to vacate the title. It's clear that he don't wanna fight AJ, not in October, not even in March. The guy speaks the truth- he really wont to become a champion, but versus someone who he have even a small chance to beat - Takam for example.

Pulev knows very well the outcome of the match. He will not gonna fight and be humiliated even for 2-3 millions.

So you agree that Pulev should have a proper camp and October is not enough time, good. How do you figure there is not enough time? we are not even in September, then you when you consider it going to the purse bid and the strong possibility of Sauerland rescheduling it may interrupt Hearns proposed date. Two can play this game and its only right considering how long they made Kubrat wait as he got passed over for a man that lost TWO fights in a row.

Are we expected to believe that Pulev was the only person in the boxing world that didn't realise as soon as Klitschko retired he was next up. From that point was 3 months to the proposed date. The Sauerlands said theyd started negotiations with Matchroom the day after Klitschko retired. There was an article on here with one of the Sauerlands saying they were very happy with the proposed deal, only recently. He just don't want to fight Joshua.

If he is doing this to try and get Joshua to vacate hes made a mistake. Looking very likely Wilder actually is fighting Ortiz. Just hope we don't get stuck with Joshua/Whyte 2 or Takam, which I can only see happening in such a short space of time.
