Success by beating who? he beat some decent 2/3 tier guys he had a much better team/promotion situation and was market right/combined with him being a clown had boone had the same situation his career might of been different man........

Again, you're looking at it like it's some sort of game. It's a career. He's headlined card after card for several years now and make ton of bread doing it. Ask Boone if he wishes he could have had Adrien Broner's career.

And, as far as records go, Broner has at least beaten guys you have heard of like Paulie, Molina, etc. Had Boone never dropped Ward and Kovalev, you'd probably never know who he was.

Like everyone else said, it's a bad comparison.

I agree broner was able to market hiself/good team and get the big paydays but he didn't beat anyone worthy to really recieve the money/pay days....he was talented salesman but that's about it.....he got cooked at the top level man

That being said. I think dropping kovalev and ward. Is a bigger claim to fame than any of broners accomplishments IN the ring. Broner was managed better. So he attained more success monetarily.

That's all i'm saying! Boone was not managed the same as broner as he would not of been fighting the same guys that he did fight....at least not at that time........

That def is what is getting lost in translation.

Broner just sputtered and failed career wise as an ATG or major player.

Yet the plateau that he reached, whether it be off the back of Floyd or whatever else, was still something he actively reached for and got there.

Zab, Gamboa and AB make it on here for me.

Dropped Ward, beat Stevenson, took kovalev the distance for the first time in his career and by split decision even. Crazy to have those kind of accolades

If Boone had the financial backing that Broner had, he could have accomplished more. One thing is certain, Boone was more dedicated to his craft than Broner. You have to be when you're expected to lose each time you step into the ring and pull the upset.
