If people in the UK think Conor has a chance, then they dont know much about boxing

McGregor ALMOST has nothing to lose. If he goes in there and gets knocked out quickly by Floyd then his hype is gone. People think he is some unstoppable force. If he goes in there and gets embarrassed and stopped then he will look pretty bad too. Any other scenario is good for him. Even if he gets outclassed, lasting the distance is a win.

If he get's totally wiped out and embarrassed by a 40 year old inactive Floyd then it will just further proves that boxing is on a whole different level to MMA in regards to striking.

That's all he has to lose

McGregor set himself up for an epic fall if he loses.

He got the dumb casuals and MMA fans believing that he will be competitive. There is no way back now. If the fight sucks or he ends up getting blasted with everything Floyd throws and stopped in brutal fashion people will look at him as a con artist. After all, he is the one who is supposed to make this fight interesting.

Casual fans didn't forgive Pacquiao either.

I think Conor and his camp are genuinely delusional and think boxing is some sort of joke.

I believe McGroggy's boxing legacy will be tarnished

If Conor loses his ego is taking the biggest L. Conor's bank statement will be ******* off for years to come over this fight. And logically a guy going into another sport to compete against a legend (even a couple years into retirement) in that other sport is a losing battle 99.9% of the time I'd imagine.

This fight was a overall W for Conor the day he signed the deal regardless of how hurt his ego could be on Saturday.
