That rating sounds about right for Crawford, he doesnt have big name, hopefully that fast KO helped build buzz for his name
You and Ghost of Dempsy are the only two confused. Everytime I make a rating thread after the weekend of a fight I do it the same way

        Ex
        PBC on Fox avgs
        Golden Boy on ESPN avgs

If the fight is on HBO or Showtime I say the fighters name because every HBO or Showtime fight doesn't have the same promoter while

        Ex:
        Broner vs. Garcia avgs
        Ward vs. Barrera avgs

Honestly, I think it was a push, same amount as he did on HBO. And let's be honest, Crawford is not a big draw name to begin with, he needs another name people know to help sell the fight. NOBODY knows who this Indongo guy was. Also, there was very little time for promotion. Was it July 1st when this fight was announced, roughly a month to promote it.
There's 55 million more viewers on ESPN than HBO. For you to get the same viewers on ESPN that you get on HBO is horrible plain and simple, no matter how you slice it.

I agree, Indongo is fairly unknown, but so is Felix Diaz and Crawford managed to get the same viewers when fighting him on HBO.

Glad everyone seen and notice the difference between how ESPN promoted my fight compared to the other two fights before me
He's saying ESPN went all out for Pac and Loma and not him? He may have a point there but still he should have done better..

I don't even know what some people are suggesting. Go back to HBO and deal with the same complicated negotiations again or what? Showtime and PBC have inactivity problems. Where are they going to go? What are their options?
I'm just saying that for ESPN to start paying for the fights the cost of putting on the cards has to be worth it for the number of viewers it gets.

Obviously going back to HBO is not an option for Top Rank (he basically called them all a**holes) but Arum was trying to make out that he made the move because ESPN have a bigger audience than HBO, rather than that he was forced to do it because HBO aren't really interested in boxing right now.

I have no idea what you mean by this. TR have a deal with ESPN which means that they're gonna put on a certain number of card for them in the next couple of years, it's not a show by show deal.

Also, what does "gleefully" have to do with anything? Do you think they're gonna be mournful in the way they announced the fight?

The interesting thing about the Rigo/ Loma fight is that Rigo is supposedly getting less than the $750,000 offered to Salido. If that's the max they can offer for an opponent for Loma, it doesn't bode too well for the potential match making.
