Crawford has defeated five top-3 contenders in his weight class since 2014

#3 Ricky Burns at Lightweight (http://www.tbrb.org/2014/02/15/11-february-2014/)

#2 Raymundo Beltran at Lightweight (http://www.tbrb.org/2015/10/10/11-november-2014/)

#1 Viktor Postol at Jr. Welterweight (http://www.tbrb.org/2016/07/17/12-july-2016/)

#3 John Molina Jr. at Jr. Welterweight (http://www.tbrb.org/2016/11/22/8-november-2016-2/)

#1 Julius Indongo at Jr. Welterweight (http://www.tbrb.org/2017/08/14/8-august-2017/)

Is this the most wins vs. top-3 contenders in a weight class since 2014?

none of them fighters listed above are much good whichever way you dress it up, and a couple of them are complete trash. it shows how weak them divisions are that they were ranked so highly.

I just like how Bud is better at fighting southpaw than career southpaws! Maybe he will just fight southpaw from here on out now? He's done it almost exclusively for the past few fights now.

I agree with the above. Crawfords an awesome talent and you can't knock what he's accomplished but these divisions are dead. No fault of his own he's beat who has been available.
That Indongo guy is terrible he fights like he's 5ft2 constantly gives up his height and reach. Constantly overreaching and falling off balance, he is awful. It says a lot a guy that severely flawed won 2 world titles both on Road.

Welterweight is where the real challenges are.

I think Postol was pretty good but the rest are average at best. Indongo probably being the worst overall.

          To answer OP question

          Golovkin beat

          1. Daniel Geale #3/Ring Magazine
          2. Martin Murray #3/ Ring Magazine
          3. David Lemule #3/Ring Magazine
          4. Danny Jacobs #2/ Ring Magazine

If he beats Canelo next month that puts him at 5 so I guess we just have wait and see.

And overall this is a much better group of fighters as well.

And Gamboa was a top fighter in the division below and Felix Diaz a very good welterweight. He's having a great run and hoping to see him mix it up with the elite at 147 because that's a great division currently.

GGG I think is one win away from cleaning up a division most impressively (Canelo, Jacobs, Lemiuex is a good 1-2-3) but I think Bud is the better fighter.

Yeah, and Jacobs was the only one good out of this bunch and most of Golovkin's fans said he would get KO'd in 8.

Geale, Martin, and Lemieux are in the same boat.

Postol is a legit threat. Knocked out Matthysse and would have beaten Danny had Danny not ducked him.
