Look for yourself. Or is this just a ploy by the promoter manipulating the website to make it look like there aren't a lot of seats available to purchase.Comment

that doesnt really mean anything. a ticket holder place could have bought a lot of those tickets to re-sell. im not dissing on this fight, i know a lot of yall hate on the floyd/mcgregor fight but keep it 100, that fight will steal all the attention away from the cotto/kamegai fight.https://www.axs.com/events/337036/co...amegai-tickets

That arena will not be empty come fight night. The people that are going to watch that fight live know they're better off spending $100 on this fight, a real fight, than spending that same amount on PPV to watch a boring on-sided sparring session.that doesnt really mean anything. a ticket holder place could have bought a lot of those tickets to re-sell. im not dissing on this fight, i know a lot of yall hate on the floyd/mcgregor fight but keep it 100, that fight will steal all the attention away from the cotto/kamegai fight.Comment

Well, it wouldn't be hard to believe for that event. Tickets are very economically priced at $200, $100, $50 and $25
Living here in the Southern California area fight shows here mostly always do well attendance wise and that's not even fights that have well known stars. A lot of local talent, nearby talent usually have good turn outs in attendance. When star fighters fight out here the turn out is even more so. The Stub Hub has always done very well with fights. Even though Mayweather-McGregor is the same night, because of the economically priced tickets, the fight being at Stub Hub and it being a star headlining bout, I'm sure that's probably accurate about almost being a sell out.
Now the ratings on HBO, that will likely suffer more than the attendance at the fight.
Don't get me wrong, I know the Mayweather fight is going to make a boat load of money with their event, PPV etc...they have been getting all the attention for weeks, months over even Canelo vs Golovkin. I know this. Just explaining tickets usually sell well for So. Cal boxing shows. Particularly when they are economically priced and have a star boxer headlining.Last edited by True That; 08-22-2017, 10:34 AM.Comment
