I could agree with you and we could both be wrong. Outside of Jacobs, g strings resume is hot garbage, absolutely nothing special about any of them before or after g string fought them. Like it or not Canelo has the better resume and it's not close.

I don't know. Who else in the MW division that is willing to fight him would make Golovkin's resume better? The guy is undefeated, highest KO% in the history of the MW division. Will Canelo be a worthy opponent? We'll soon find out. All the questions will be answered on September 16. I still don't think Golovkin will get credit until he moves up and fights someone like Ward. Let Golovkin lose one fight first, then people can criticize. Until then let's see how it plays out.
