Holyfield/Valuev probably had the same disparity. Some places report the weight +/- 1lb for some reason

if you're counting HW the numbers will sound really off. if you're athletic and can punch you can do plenty of damage once you get above 180-190 lbs or so. yeah, 6'6" juggernauts hit harder, but not hard enough to warrant half a dozen divisions, the way a 50 lb weight advantage would when you compare a 154 lber to a 105 lber.

the biggest advantage in size that i think i've seen in a televised fight in the weight classes was gatti - gamache. gatti was a very strong puncher and he filled out well up until 140 lbs. gamache was not an athletic guy and not a big 140 lber at all. probably could have made 135 or 130 if he had the athleticism and musculature to operate at a super low body fat like gatti, many other world class boxers in their primes.

gamache was damn near killed in a couple of rounds. rumor has it that gatti missed weight on the scales and nevada was in on it. unnoficially he had about 15-20 lbs on him on the HBO scales. looked like a middleweight fighting a lightweight. gatti hit him with a combination that legitimately damaged gamache's brain. he almost died.

You have the winner here. Which is highly unlikely. 68.8 lbs difference.

Haha, since the Mayweather-Conor fight is this week, I thought I'd add some MMA into the mix...

                    Don't hate on me!

Fedor (233lbs) vs. Zuluzinho (341lbs) was a pretty substantial weight difference...
