Yeh right. Dude is gonna take the second most dangerous fight in the division whilst he's been desperate for a cash out unification or Canelo fight for nearly two years now.

Saunders (c) vs Jacobs is easily a fight that Showtime would be willing to pay for, Barclays Center would easily turn it into an event for the hometown fighter, and Frank Warren gets more content for his channel (splitting that money with Saunders however they choose).
Showtime likely easily puts up $3m for the fight; does Saunders come over for $1.25m, his sponsors, and his share of the UK money with Warren?

That becomes a great fight instead of just the last fight for GGG/Canelo to get the last belt. Or if Jacobs wins, then that rematch or fight with Canelo is for all the belts, and it doesn't have to take up an extra date (in other words, if GGG wins, he wouldn't need to waste one date getting the belt, and then another date rematching Jacobs. He'd have a chance to do both in one fight, which would speed up his move to 168, which is what we all want to see).
So I definitely hope it happens. Or Saunders-Charlo in December so long as it's mandated winner has to fight GGG-Canelo winner next. Or they could strip Saunders and have Jacobs and Charlo fight for the belt in December. In theory that would be even better, winner fights GGG/Canelo winner, but that should only happen if Saunders refuses to fight one of them. Otherwise it's not fair to Saunders, even if it would probably be better for the division.
And, if we're being honest about it, Golovkin and his camp have already made it clear that the belts won't mean **** if Alvarez wants the rematch. Golovkin is after his two paydays before the form goes to ****.

Of course he would fight those guys, he's a professional boxer. Nobody is afraid of those guys. He already offered Lemieux a fight.
Let's see if Jacobs makes him a genuine reasonable offer to get a shot at his title in December to prove all this "BJS wouldn't fight XYZ" nonsense.
