Why No UFC Branding Anywhere For This Mayweather vs McGregor Fight?

Is it cause the UFC has nothing to do with this really? Just McGregor is loyal to UFC and let them represent him but they arent really apart of it.

The UFC is NOT a co-promoter in the fight or involved in the promotion. Its all Showtime and Mayweather Promotions

I thought I heard Dana saying the UFC or he (Dana got a legit promoters license recently for the new Tuesday Night Contender series from my understanding) is getting some sort of co-promoter credit for this fight. Thats just something thats happened within the last week or week & change doe so idk if its showing up on any MayMac posters or what not yet. My assumption would be it'll be out there by the time of the final presser.

"Zuffa boxing" is about the closest. The UFC itself isn't involved.

This is from 9 days ago.
MMA Fighting reports that the UFC has “made a request with the Nevada Athletic Commission” to act as co-promoters of Conor McGregor’s bout with Floyd Mayweather Jr. Apparently, that official co-promoter role would allow the UFC to have a more firm hand in McGregor’s side of the deal, and handle payment to him for the bout.

I've been hearing more MMA guys speculate on this whole boxing thing & I still call bs on the UFC getting into boxing on a regular basis in fights besides this type of fight this week, but I do think its highly possible the UFC could be starting a BKB type fight league where they'd have the control they enjoy & where the could match up UFC guys & boxers.

I thought Dana had a contract with Conor forbidding him from basically doing anything without his consent. I imagine while UFC isn't involved with any of the promotion, Dana White is getting a slice of the pie from Conor based on contract stipulations or in other words, Conor being White's biatch.
