HBO's boxing department is just bonus to their subscribers. They have Game of Thrones that have smashed all records in current popularity. I didn't even watch a single season, yet I see it being talked about everywhere. HBO is doing fine bro.
    Boxing wise smart guy.

All they have is Golden Boy. K2 is 2 fighters (1 coming off a loss). Main Events is 1 fighter (coming off 2 losses).

If I was Nelson, I'd do my best to keep RNS afloat. Ward and Rigondeaux > K2 and Main Events.

If they intend on staying in the business and remain relevant, then they almost have to.

Have a good thing going with Showtime, stay with Espinoza and Showtime/CBS! HBO more focused on International Talent which I think is actually a good thing honestly

Main Events can't be long for big league boxing. Kovalev is the only thing saving them from complete irrelevancy.

HBO should open doors to Haymon fighters fighting each other. Why not? Makes no sense putting your fighters on the shelf for long periods of time.

How about Spence vs Peterson on HBO for a start?

HBO should close their doors and let K2, Main Events and Golden Boy deal with Arum and Haymon.

I'm surprised HBO have got any money for boxing at all considering all the dough they're throwing at Game Of Thrones. Those CGI dragons don't come cheap.

It appears HBO is distancing themselves from boxing. Instead opting for agenda-driven documentaries, shows, and comedy specials. Their target demographic is not boxing fans, which was the last reason I had for subscribing to that network. With Top Rank moving to ESPN, and PBC/Haymon with SHO, there are less fights to be made on HBO, who admittedly has less dates reserved for boxing events.
