Comments Thread For: Andre Ward: Facing Anthony Joshua is NOT Off The Table!

IBF, WBA, WBO light heavyweight champion Andre Ward (32-0, 16 KOs) is not ruling out the possibility of a future showdown with IBF, IBO, WBA heavyweight king Anthony Joshua (19-0, 19 KOs). Ward's dream is to replicate the accomplishment of Roy Jones Jr., who is 2003 jumped from light heavyweight to capture the WBA heavyweight title from John Ruiz.

Big money fight for Ward, but he would be KO'd in a couple rounds. Kovalev hurt Ward multiple times so Joshua will take his head clean off.

Joshua has mandatory with Pulev then Ortiz. Unless step aside or a grant issued Ward has to wait a while. He's not a huge draw like Roy was

Didn't SOD also say he'd fight Wladimir Klitscko too?

Ward steps up and does this I'd give him alot of respect.

But khan going for canelo...lol that was a money grab.

Hunter would be in both corners

I cant say that Ward can't beat some fringe HW, but he stands no chance against any of the TOP8 I would say.

Size difference is too much, Ward is not a big puncher to begin with.

But hey, nothing but respect for trying.

Don't really want to see it. Granted, the competition outside of Kov and maybe Adonis at 175 isn't really all that great, Ward just isn't big enough to go to HW

Joshua wouldn't let Ward get out of the first. He don't muck around in there.

It would be the end of Ward's life. Going up to CW or fighting a smaller fringe contender at HW would be realistic goals, but fighting Joshua would be suicide
