he'd be in the reckoning although unfortunately he doesnt seem to be willing to test himself against people who are at his level. hes happy doing his thing at 140, fighting mediocre fighters. that seems to be his gig for the time being.

He's with Top Rank....those fights won't happen so it's a pointless debate with those 2 names. He needed to beat Manny and Timmy to have a shot at the award.

If he beats Thurman, Mikey and Spence then he probably would be fighter of the decade. I think he would beat Mikey but be an even fight with Thurman and get knocked out by Spence. Crawford is doing great but he has stiff competition for fighter of the decade. Ward and GGG have already had a great decade, especially Ward. If GGG beats Canelo he will be right up there. There are almost 2 and a half years left in the decade. I think Loma and Spence will have a lot of great wins in the remainder of the decade. If Crawford keeps on winning he has a good shot at fighter of the decade. We'll see at the end of 2019 if that is when the decade is officially over.

I personally think Crawford would be better off staying away from Thurman, Spence, Porter, Brook...pretty much any of the bigger welters.

I think he competes well or beats the smaller welters and the ones recently come up from lower weights like Danny, Lamont Peterson, and Matthysse.

If I am Bud, right now I look for a fight with Mikey or Broner. If he is looking to go up to 147, Peterson or Lucas.

Can you imagine if Crawford dominates 147 the way he has at 140?

He'd have that award in his pocket.
