Why would he? Its obvious he focuses on his opponents, doesnt drink, smoke, or blow-up in weight between fights. He's dedicated to his craft, what he was born for. He's the child prodigy that lived up to his potential in regards to "boxing".

I don't know if a win over McGregor will exactly qualify for anything but another win.

Don't tell me this **** counts on Mayweather's official win/loss record in boxing??? His opponent is a novice.

Idk that anyone cares THAT much about 49-0 except white racist mfers or 50-0 except black racist mfers. Its a record like any other record in boxing.

And this is a record like 50% of fans don't even understand cuz about half the time I see mfers talking about JCC going 80-0 or whatever he got to before his draw or Ricardo Lopez, who I love, but didn't even have a perfect record. There is a difference between a streak of wins, an unbeaten record & a perfect career record.

If he thinks that defeating a UFC fighter is breaking the record then he has no respect for the past champions and their hard work. This fight has to happen but no way in hell is this the record breaker.

I respect Floyd's decision to keep this out of the spotlight. When the Event was first announced that was one of my concerns but Floyd has been pretty much "stand-up" about everything in this event, at 40 he's much more likable.

Willie Pep and Julio Cesar Chavez don't.
no, we are talking about records and chavez clearly has that record.

Yes, records for champions who went their entire career undefeated.

Otherwise we could bring up how Sugar Ray Robinson had 128 wins and 1 loss at one point in his glorious career.
