Comments Thread For: Luis Ortiz Laughs at Joshua: Where is Your Pride To Fight The Best?

Yesterday in an article on BoxingScene.com, WBA, IBF, IBO heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua said that he has no problems facing his WBA mandatory Luis Ortiz - but only after he faces his IBF mandatory Kubrat Pulev. Ortiz's team has been pushing for the fight against Joshua, insisting that the WBA guaranteed them that they were next after stepping aside to allow Wladimir Klitschko to face Anthony Joshua in April.

    ...lol, what?

Deontay Wilder is the WBC's heavyweight champion, is openly looking to finalize a fight against Luis Ortiz, yet Ortiz and his camp seem not care about fighting the best their own selves.

Ortiz sees the 90k at Wembley, with the 1.6m homes on Sky Box Office, and his eyes are stuck big, imagining that check.

Yep. Ortiz is not going to risk fighting Wilder this year when he can get a huge payday against Joshua. He will take a squash match this year, and fight Joshua after Pulev.

Without the titles or given some up to fight Ortiz makes no sense.Ortiz is a plodder and not great to watch.

Luis Ortiz and his team are getting boring now. All these contenders claiming the champions are ducking them. Yet the contenders won't fight eachother. His highest ranked win is Malik Scott ffs.
