The UFC Gym idea has been pretty successful so Floyd using his name to try a similar concept (except geared more towards boxing than MMA) could work very well.

Imagine if they start teaching the Mayweather pad work there. That alone would be a hit, young women and wealthy soccer moms seem to love hitting mitts for some reason. I guess they think it shows they have grrrl power or something.

"Coach Rick" on YouTube appears to have made a decent living for himself by teaching a knockoff version. The real thing should make more money, as long as it's presented and packaged right.

NO! I'm thinking as far people who hate the guy already on top of thinking Long Term! For example if Mayweather is in a scandal and people Boycotting his Gyms because of a Incident or something he say publicly.

So NO has nothing to do with Following Anybody but it is plenty of former athletes (former NBA Player Jamal Mashburn being one of them) who are invested in Franchises but most people don't know it because they don't attach their name to it!

Bad idea. Gyms don't make money like they did 20 years ago.

If Floyd had a start up with 24 hours and specialty trainers on call, very niche in cities --- maybe he could make a profit.

The market is over saturated and the ones that get members are the $10/month joints.
