initially i thought his name being on it was a bad idea.

likely is, sound corny if you saying youre going mayweather boxing club.

it would of been smart to make it secret, call it something else, put it in nice places around uk, usa whatever, and get the customers.

some people might choose not to give money to him as they might see a dollar they gave on tele and him throwing it away.

then i thought mayweathers name on a ppv gets loads of buys.

idk, i guess watching him fight with the possibility of him losing then paying 10£$€ to train per day might be different.

He already has a strip club, I think its called girl collection.

Its its one or two gyms it should be good don't do some crazy franchise thats going to be difficult in a saturated market.

Its not a good venture someone probably convinced him to invest, Floyd has a lot of money he could sit on it live well and not overspend and just focus on his real estate and maybe his clothing lines, or become an angel investor in start ups and ask for 15 percent.

If he had one gym in Cali and one in the east coast, he could make steady income, but doing a chain of gyms it would be a disaster, Floyds Brand isn't even proven yet. He has only made his money by demanding PPV, is his Brand proven yet?

He should have just focused on his clothing and fashion and see if his shirts would sell or hook up with reebok or nike to do something like Jordan did with Nike.

Why a gym franchise? those are not going to succeed, I see a fitness gym everywhere and also people dont even like going to the gym, they get a trial membership and bounce or if they do get one they rarely go.

I have a planet fitness, a ufc, bally, 24 hour and an la fitness all within 20 minutes from me.

Maybe its easier said when you have it at your disposal but it just doesn't take much to make a guy genuinely happy IMO lol. Don't owe anyone any money, have plenty of money to live off, can enjoy the nice holidays and above all else not having to get up and go to work every morning, whats there to be unhappy about lol?

              You're just a follower.

His name is what will sell it and separate it from other gyms

It'll be the place to see and be seen.

The Mayweather name is what's going to attract people.

Without his name on the product it's just another random gym.

I don't get how anyone can see otherwise.

NO! I'm thinking as far people who hate the guy already on top of thinking Long Term! For example if Mayweather is in a scandal and people Boycotting his Gyms because of a Incident or something he say publicly.

So NO has nothing to do with Following Anybody but it is plenty of former athletes (former NBA Player Jamal Mashburn being one of them) who are invested in Franchises but most people don't know it because they don't attach their name to it!
