Or you can continue to go the popularity route if you'd like and mention more p4p lists.
again one is bigger and has a mw resume, the other has a jmw resume, thats why p4p comes into play, you talk about objective and biases yet you sudgested a poll for fans and fanboys... you can say one list is biased and i respect that, but when every single list has canelo clearly above jacobs then you have a problem if you are still in denial...
again jacobs is bigger than canelo , but p4p the ginger takes it and is not close... and no p4p are not popularity based or else ward wouldnt be the king on each and everyone , heck chocolatito was king for many months...

Jacobs is the best boxer he faced and even he barely survived. Golovkin knew it would look bad if he stopped a cancer survivor - a gentleman in and out of the ring.

Ok since reading seems to be above you here and ya'll want to reply to me changing the actual facts of what was said, i'll restate what I replied to and what I actually stated.

OP: Everyone thinks he's a better fighter
ME: Put up a poll you might be surprised at the result..

Am I not asking someone who states that the public thinks Canelo is the better fighter to actually go and get the opinion of fans instead of assuming what their thoughts on the topic are? P4P lists don't mean shh to me, they usually favor the more popular fighters of a given division. 25 years plus of loving this sport I have rarely ever agreed with any p4p list in its entirety...certainly not in this era. I have asked repeated for just one of y'all to name one fighter that Canelo has fought that's better than Jacobs, i've gotten Lara and Cotto. Lara maybe, maybe. Cotto maybe ten years ago but not the Cotto Canelo fought. So again what fighter on his resume actually beats Jacobs and with your 100% certainty where you'd feel inclined to put real money or even an account bet?

            that is just ignorant turnedup

            Canelo's prior opponents were JMW's

P4P absolutely is the issue, because Canelo was a JMW who weighed 155 or less when those fights took place

well, now he is a middleweight

what you just said is exactly the same as this..... name one opponent on Ward's resume who could beat Kovalev

..... that did not help Kovalev, did it?

and I would favor Lara over Jacobs

I am fully aware that they have been jr middleweights but my point is these guys are trying to r@pe jacobs in saying he aint shh. Canelo has not been in the ring with the kind of disadvantages he would have against Jacobs at any weight. That has been my point all along. How can you say your fighter is better when he hasn't had to face that kind of a dog before. I also find it massively disrespectful that the same people who were praising Jacobs after the Golovkin fight now want to turn around and unfairly shh on him because someone says he's better than the boxer they practically worship at. Jacobs is bigger, faster, more mobile and has more pop than anyone the kid has faced but Canelo is better?

You might want to pay closer attention to your own fighter's boxrec...literally two elite fighters who weren't either blown up welters or over the hill in 50 fights. Let's not go there because I actually like the kid somewhat but I don't drink this kool aid some of ya'll seem to be on. Once he's finished with Golovkin win or lose I hope he turns to Jacobs, i'll happily take on account bets if any of y'all are up for it.

no one said he is ****, we just said canelo is better, going 12 with an animal like ggg aint easy, but still not enough to consider him better than canelo... he is just bigger and that alone might give canelo trouble...

if Canelo wins in September, I think he will fight Saunders next

but Canelo/Jacobs would be a helluva fight

and same with Golovkin, whoever wins should fight Saunders next

Saunders said that he will fight Golovkin, but I am guessing he hopes Canelo will win

if Canelo loses, I am aware that Lemieux would likely happen next, but Jacobs/Canelo should definitely happen sooner rather than later

and if Canelo loses to Golovkin, he should not get first crack at Saunders..... that will be a right b1tch if that happens

the winner should fight Saunders next
