Why does Parker have to wait almost a year for his next fight? That is squandering his prime. These guys need to be fighting three or four times per year, not once per year. It's not as though Parker has made big money thus far and can rest on his bank account. Why not a fight with a guy who as at least ranked in the top ten? Sorry, but this looks like the beginning of a trend forming. When you have a title you have to defend it against mandatories or someone ranked in the top ten.

He was one of the most active HW's over the past few years, he was fighting 5 times a year in his early 20's...please do not compare him with 30 year old 40 fight bum squad Wilder, who fights bum after bum and then 'injures' his hand and is out for 9 months...

The only reason Parker has only fought once this year is because of PED cheat hughie fury postponing the fight twice.
