cotto has all my respect, but i just dont see him dominating kamegai. kamegai is the type of fighters that cotto has a hard time with. pressure come foward fighter is cotto's weakness. if kamegai can take all those shots from guerrero and didnt even go down once, i just cant see cotto stopping him.

I'm a self-confessed Puertorican Cotto hater. I'm hopping for this Chinese dude to end Cotto's carrier earlier than expected, so that I don't have to see that ugly face again on the main event of any card. I'm keeping my hopes up because I know that Kamegai is a pressure fighter, and we all know that Cotto doesn't handle pressure that well. Once you start pressuring him he backs up like a shrimp.

On the other hand, Freddy just predicted a KO so I think Cotto is fu*** up.

I hear what you're saying about Cotto and pressure fighters (though I don't think Kamegai compares to a plastered Margarito) and completely get your point about Kamegai's durability . . . but are you comparing Cotto to Guerrero? Sure, styles make fights, but there are levels to this.

If (big "if") Cotto has not lost a step since the Canelo fight, then I agree with Roach - Cotto will win inside the distance. Cotto's a bigger and sharper puncher than Guerrero, Gomez, Soto-Karas...and Kamegai. He will manage to engage selectively (like in Margarito II) and will pick his spots to really sit down on his punches.

cotto should be able to beat kamegai no problem.....

but for some reason would be cool if kamegai won.... maybe cotto should pass that torch already but kamegai just isnt that good imo. tough but not that good.
