Haymon should broker a deal between frampton and hearn.... Matchroom can turn frampton to an even bigger star in europe.... Time to leave that angry midget and go on to bigger and better things....

I'm really shocked by this. They've been really close for a long time. Is Shane gonna continue training him? Carl needs to make the right decision at this point in his career.

I think Barry's done a great job with Frampton. Not the old Irishman's fault that Frampton could not adjust and work a new gameplan for LSC. The real problem? Shane, who is a fitness coach not a boxing coach.

Couldnt agree more mate, Shanes instructions in the Leo rematch were awful and the polar opposite of what Carl needed to hear..

              The McGuigan's Be Like

Frampton made a wise decision long ago becoming part of the American's team - Al Haymon and team PBC! these euro promotions are second rate.

Frampton's not going to sign with Frank, and I doubt that he re-signs with Matchroom either.

Once he squares away his training situation (I think he and Shane work really well together, but not sure if that's sustainable if he does part with Barry; Adam Booth works a similar style, so maybe that works), you're going to see Frampton under his own banner, with Haymon working as an agent in putting together individual fights. Matchroom Sport as the preferred partner for Frampton fights in the UK (Frampton and Katie Taylor on a twin bill would be good; likely preferred venue for a Lee Selby fight anyway), DiBella Entertainment as the preferred partner in NYC/East Coast, and likely Richard Schaefer for Las Vegas/West Coast.

Frampton's an established global name in the sport at this point; he's not Floyd, Canelo, or Anthony Joshua at this point, but Frampton's name on the marquee draws live money but also TV money.

I dunno if he is two faced but he is not a boxing man. He is just a poser and Frampton requires a genuine trainer. The guy is one of the most talented little men I've seen in a while, he can move, fight and hit with power. Maybe someone like Booth or the simms borthers?
