    I recall the announcer saying Heiland's knee was heavily wrapped. That's a far cry from a sleeve or brace. I used to wrap my knees when I squatted heavy weight in the gym. I had to unwrap and re-wrap between sets, because blood flow is extremely restricted. It's actually counter-productive. Sleeves are the better answer. I've never seen a fighter come into the ring with his knee(s) wrapped. The announcer said it's against the rules. Maybe Heiland didn't have a sleeve on hand.
