They'd be mad to approve it. If it was two seasoned professionals, and there was a genuine necessity to request it, then maybe. But to allow it when the best fighter of this generation is fighting a guy with no professional boxing record, that would be crazy.

I mean, what if Mayweather ends up destroying the guy and he has long lasting effects? They'd get dragged through the courts and made to pay up. What if it was worse? NSAC could be looking at a charge of corporate manslaughter.

It's reckless and there's no need for it other than fighters ego.

Doesn't UFC use the same size glove for every weight division? Why does it matter in boxing, let me guess, boxers are better punchers?

        Oh, they'll do that anyway.

"He didn't stand still and fight!"
        "He ran!"
"It's not a fight if you can't hit each other!"

There's no point explaining boxing to these morons.

It was requested by McGregor too. They wouldn't be able to sue because HE ASKED for the rule to be bent as well.

Now, if Mayweather was alone in this request and it was granted without McGregor's consent, then he would have some grounds to sue.

If that happened in 8s it would also happen in 10s, 2oz really is only a slight difference. They did a scientific test and proved 4 6 8 and 10 show hardly any difference at all in psi.

BS. A hotshot lawyer would spin the sheet out of that all day long. It wouldn't be a problem.

Conor doesn't know, he's a novice! NSAC should have known, they have the experience and implement these rules. Conor had no idea what difference it would make, he just let pride get the better of him. He trusted NSAC that if it was dangerous for his health it wouldn't be approved.

See? You'd find them guilty all day long.
