I didn't say he was defending the fight but he knows there's no way an MMA fighter is beating Mayweather. He also know the sparring video was released to make McGregor look good and that the KD looked more like a push than anything. Other than a few straight right hands McGregor's technique looked horrible. He even tried a hammer fist and a blatant kidney punch that literally looked like he was swinging his fist like a baseball bat.
