But Cotto was much smaller than Canelo. If there was Jacobs instead of Cotto, then Canelo would be in a very big trouble. But I guess Canelo will never fight Jacobs. Too risky, low reward.

Golden Boy's ***** decision to vacate the WBC and duck Golovkin was probably wise at the time, but the fighters they've fought since that will come back round and bite them on the ass. Khan, Liam Smith and The 164lbs Human Punching Bag are shocking preparation for Golovkin, whereas Kell Brook and Jacobs are pretty good warm ups preparing for Canelo. That will be the big deciding factor in this fight.

This fight should have happened a year ago. Oscar has waited for what he feels is the perfect moment to challenge Golovkin. The only purpose of the Smith and Chavez fights were to age Golovkin by another year, Canelo learnt nothing from either fight that he could use against Triple G.

Just last year like in Sept. GGG was offered a flat fee. He decided to turn into businessman instead and turned the offer down.

I agree Smith and Khan did nothing to prepare for GGG. Chavez was there to see how he handles extra weight and how his punches effect bigger men. Chavez Jr. Also has one of the strongest chins out there. So I don't think too many ppl bet Canelo by TKO

Golovkin himself said if he didn't look vulnerable against Jacobs, Canelo wouldn't have taken the fight. His fans interpreted that as he did it on purpose. Although it's not exactly purposefully looking bad its kind of an odd thing to say.

People keep bringing up Jacobs size as the reason he did well. Murray and Murray were really big MWs and looked what happened.

Cotto fought nothing like Jacobs. Watch that fight again. Cotto was the smaller man, doesnt have the reach or the movement to fight like jacobs did. He boxed Canelo in circles and kept trying to turn him

Well im glad Sanchez is honest about that. GGG beats the Ginger-Boy anyway believe that. I realy think Canelo is an easier opponent for GGG than Jacobs was.
