They don't know our secret knock, so I don't know how we ever let 'em in! But it's happening. I'm glad that MMA fans who HATE boxing will be forced to pay attention to our sport, but I hope people acting like McGregor doesn't become the norm. Dude really has no respect. People hate on Floyd but he's the complete opposite of Conor. The other day Conor called Jose Aldo a nothing. Floyd usually praises his opponents after he beats them. I always try to be unbiased, but it's hard to like that little leprechaun. He says a lot of things, but he's not fit to peel Floyd's Potatoes.
I probably shouldn't have said that. Larry Holmes said something similar about Marciano when Larry was closing-in on Rocky's record. Then Spinks beat him.
But McGregor don't have the 'Spinks Jinx' and I'm not superstitious.
He f#cked over Paulie with how he was working him (8rds + 12rds sparring when no is only using one sparring partner for that many rds, in particular a guy out of fighting shape) + the edited tape thing again. We will see if or how that gets resolved as its still early.
And from those two situations Andre Berto & Steve Forbes have apparently refused to work for him during these last couple weeks.
LOL I mean Conor will run outta bridges to burn in boxing real fast if he keeps up the douchebag approach.Comment

It sounds like another payday grab by both fighters. Are they manipulating the public? Are they being manipulated by promoters? A combination? Are both in on the game? It is all suspect to me. No way in the world that the whole session sees the light of day anytime soon even if McGregor had his way with Paulie.Comment

Couture you didn't have to explain to us why Conor and White were disingenuous. Conor is a walking piece of **** and White was always a piece of ****. When you ask one sparring partner to go 12 rounds, then you know that they are complete morons. They had it out for Paulie from the rip because of Paulies dissing him. But...that's selling the fight greater than Ali ever could according to a few dip**** Conor fans lmao.Comment

im thinking this was all a set up.
just seems fishy that out of all the boxers who talk shiiet about mcgregor, he goes and pick paulie to be his sparring partner. and paulie just so happen to work for showtime. and then all this drama follows right after paulie shows up to sparring.Comment

Pretty sure they released the Malignaggi tape to counter-act Conor's horrible media day footage.
Conor's media day made him look like the ****tiest possible boxer who gasses in 3 rounds.
They then release the tape of Malinaggi getting hit by a big punch and going down, so they can say "see look what Conor did in sparring!!"
The fact of the matter is Malinaggi is fat, out of shape, and has no punching power so Mcgregor could literally just walk at him. Sparring Malinaggi will do nothing to make Conor a better boxer and will do nothing to prepare him for Floyd.
Then you throw in the fact that Malinaggi sparred 20 rounds with Conor and held his own and was competitive.
Let me repeat, a fat out of shape Paulie with 0 punching power sparred 20 rounds with an absolute prime Conor Mcgregor and was competitive.
If Conor in his absolute prime is merely competitive against a fat out of shape Paulie, and Conor in his prime looks like **** and gasses in 3 rounds at his own media day, He's ****ed plain and simple.
Teddy Atlas said it best "They're taking advantage of your imagination"
I can't wait to see the look on Conor's face when he's in the ring and realizes all of his **** talk is coming back to bite him.
The look on Conor's face after the first time he completely misses a punch and gets nailed in return is going to be pricelessComment
