Amazing to me that a UFC/MMA guy literally has more sense than some of the posters on this website when it comes to this situation.

      unfortunately

are MMA fans smarter than boxing fans as well ?

despite the fact there are a few ***wit boxing fans who think it was real, are the MMA guys all sitting around laughing at us..... based on those few ***wits?
I wouldn't say all that, the majority of MMA fans I've been in contact with are pretty casual and pretty annoying. But, I think you have a valid point about them laughing at boxing fans, and the sport of boxing in general. When you can spin the situation as well as Conor and Dana have to have Boxing Fans coming to your defense, then you did a hell of a job manipulating the entire situation in your favor.

Exactly. Nobody does that! They should not have done it at all. That's why they should release a full video or no video at all. What good is a little 20-second edited clip from 70 minutes of sparring? It was an immature douche-move, obviously done to make a narcissist look good at his partner's expense. I'm not sure if that's normal in the MMA world, but most boxers are accustomed to treating each other with a different level of respect. We can agree to disagree on the ethicality of Conor's 'propaganda clip' and weather Maligniggi's reaction to it is justified.

I love the honesty from a UFC great. McGregor's camp is trying to use any sketchy tactic they can to try to make him look like something he's not and TRY to play mind games with Floyd overall, but it isn't working. They're being found out at every turn. Too much technology and social media these days where people can communicate and know things in an instant. Conor is going to get schooled.

            this ^^

if Paulie survived for 12 rounds, then he must have been doing something in there..... sooooo, what did Team McGregor decide to do with their 20 secs of airtime?.....

            1) show a clip that benefitted Conor?
            2) show a clip that benefitted Paulie?
            3) show a clip that benefitted both?

the fans who are lapping this up are known as dumb money

I think skip is spoon! Seriously though, that guy must hate Floyd more than anyone else I've ever heard of. What a d!ck...he should be fired for that amount of bias.

Well I agree its bad form to release the parts that make you look good & the other guy look bad, but I mean logically what do we think they are gonna release? But then again logically you can't release a whole sparring session with your best sparring partner to the public for your opponent to see even more so.

But yea Conor's team has ****** at their dealings in the boxing world almost across the board.

They don't know our secret knock, so I don't know how we ever let 'em in! But it's happening. I'm glad that MMA fans who HATE boxing will be forced to pay attention to our sport, but I hope people acting like McGregor doesn't become the norm. Dude really has no respect. People hate on Floyd but he's the complete opposite of Conor. The other day Conor called Jose Aldo a nothing. Floyd usually praises his opponents after he beats them. I always try to be unbiased, but it's hard to like that little leprechaun. He says a lot of things, but he's not fit to peel Floyd's Potatoes.

I probably shouldn't have said that. Larry Holmes said something similar about Marciano when Larry was closing-in on Rocky's record. Then Spinks beat him.
But McGregor don't have the 'Spinks Jinx' and I'm not superstitious.

It's not exactly a big secret that Randy Couture has no love for Dana White.

Sparring is different than fighting. McGregor is acting like he was in the main event on fight night. It's still sparring in a practice gym and lets see the other footage. I think they are manipulating the situation.
Some will say Randy is saying this because of his split with the UFC and Dana, but he's just being honest. Watch the first season of Ultime Fighter to see how open and sincere he was when he was coaching.
