Cotto had to take this fight because it's supposed to be a fight he can win...he can't compete with those young studs at 154 lbs...the Charlos, Jacobs, and Andrade would definitely send him back to Caguas with his tail between his legs...the man got old!

Announcement of Cotto vs Khamgai, most complain, even though Cotto will be coming off of two years of inactivity. Roach say's he wants GGG for Cotto next and those same people make excuses why it shouldn't happen. I say, if Cotto fights GGG so be it. Why would a boxing fan not want to see this fight? Cotto fought Canelo who came into the fight heavier than GGG ever has. Win or lose, it's a hell of a way to go out. Hopkins got merked by a nobody, so even if Cotto gets knocked out, it's not comparable to Hopkins, plus he was 51. I'd prefer Cotto goes back to welter weight, because you rarely see fighters go up two divisions then back down and be effective. But, I'm all in if that GGG fight ever happens.
