Is there any ending or continuation to this story, or just leave every random news article they're feeding us? It says "Lara vs Andrade negotiations to begin in September?" And it's already September.

Anyone reaching out to this sanctioning body who let Laura hold on to his tile for 2 years without any legit challenger?

Does the Andrade camp have any plan of suing these people for telling him to wait for nothing?

We can agree to disagree on how we saw the Angulo fight at the time of the stoppage. I have never been particularly impressed with Angulo and my opinion of Lara's subpar performance in that fight is something I take into consideration when I rate him...regardless of whatever other real or alleged obstacles Lara had to deal with.
williams fight wasnt close at all. this is when it was obvious williams was shot and yet people still give canelo credit for wanting to fight him. its like yeah no sh-it the guy is clearly shot yet he still has a name.

Lara now comes back in the ring after 7-9 months from his last fight. You're saying Andrade should wait that long, eh?

They should have at least added Andrade in the Gausha/Lara undercards so they can synchronize their availability. As it is now Andrade would most likely secure a fight early next year and Lara would then have another legit excuse to avoid him.

Bottom line is it's clear this fight is not happening any time soon. No one on either side is making any effort to make it happen.

Which fights? The one that Angulo quit with his face totally destroyed or the one where Canelo Rob Lara while only landing 24 head shots in 12 rounds

What about Carlos Molina? What about the Martirosyan fights?

lol Carlos Molina was 6 years ago, when Lara was coming from 4 straight first round KO fights and without knowing Molina Style try to K.O. him the first half of the fight where Molina was Potshoting lara with his usual ugly hogging style, after that the second half Lara Boxing and beat the rest of the fight (need to watch the fight before commenting), btw Molina did not want to face Lara in a Rematch.

And Vanes? Well after a first short fight stop by cut, a rematch in Lara usual style won the fight.

                -----------------------

But if you wait to go that back, just remember Lara already beat Andrade in the amateurs.

So nothing happened in this so-called September negotiations.

Nobody has any inside info. All we can do is speculate. Like Lara asking $2 mil or more for the fight. Haymon can only offer $700K. He settles for Gausha hoping to get Hurd next, not even Andrade.

''Demetrius Andrade will fight on HBO’s Oct. 21 card headlined by junior lightweight titlist Jezreel Corrales’ defense against Alberto Machado at the Turning Stone Resort Casino in Verona, New York, but whether he will defend his secondary junior middleweight world title or go to middleweight is not yet decided. It will depend on the opponent that can be lined up for him, sources with knowledge of the discussions told ESPN. But Andrade (24-0, 16 KOs), 29, of Providence, Rhode Island, is willing to move up in weight for the right opponent, they said. His co-promoters, Joe DeGuardia of Star Boxing and Artie Pelullo of Banner Promotions, are in talks with HBO about a multi-fight contract with the network that would commence with the October bout.''

Well you can forget about the Lara, Charlo, Lubin, and Hurd fights at 154 then.

Might as well move up to 160 and fight Golovkin's leftovers. Maybe it will even lead to a Golovkin fight for him.
