If he can't make the weight anymore, he can't make the weight anymore.
The only thing I felt he should've done was make it be known waaaaaay earlier and try to negotiate a way for the fight to take place at another weight.

If this fight gets cancelled, though, the fans who bought tickets get screwed a second time and so does Showtime, who not only is paying both fighters well, but showed Castillo vs. Reyes when Corrales pulled out.

I think a heavy fine, a reprimand from the WBC, and no title on the line should be acceptable if Corrales goes through with the fight, and it tarnishes the trilogy, but the undercard is weak enough that that kills "America's Fight Night"

UNfortunately after knockout losses to Castillo and Mayweather, Corrales' people might forice him into taking this fight anyways which he shouldn't do. If I am him, I tell Castillo to F off and I fight Freitas again. However, he probably wants the payday and might fight even if its not in his best interest

I doubt the fight will happen now and I dont think it should. I'm pretty sure Corrales said in an interview that if Castillo came in overweight again then he wouldnt fight him and it'd be cancelled.

His camp seriously needs to get some better outside help with weight cutting or movie up already. This is just silly at a pro level that you werent prepared the week of the fight to be at the right weight to make the drop easily.

I'm not sure if this is a sign that Castillo is unprofessional. His body may finally be telling him that he can't make it to 135. This is a pretty bad scene, considering this was supposed to be one of the big fights of the summer. Boxing is going to have to look into finding ways to regulate the weight of fighters so this type of thing does not occur anymore.
