I loved the second All Access last week. He's in Miami for 5 days. He's roller skating with his family and team back in Vegas. Conor and his team aren't entirely dummies. They know he's messing with them. Especially with Floyd as an EP on the show. He's clearly training, flying sparring partners, dieting right, anywhere he goes. But I like how he's on those 100+millionaire mind games. Conor pays attention to things. And he's (McGregor) subtly being owned in this buildup. There was a quote from Mayweather that I remember reading (in an actual newspaper) maybe 10+ years ago. He said, "I beat every fighter mentally before I beat him physically." You see how emotional a person McGregor is. He can't control that. But this is boxing. No matter how cool you are in interviews, nerves and everything else set in on fight night. With nerves, cardio gets cut almost in half. And especially if you're saying you're going to knock him out in the first few rounds, you're going to expend a lot of energy. Vegas has been Mayweather's for years. Think back to Ricky Hatton--who would've destroyed McGregor...and watch his 2 minute take a month or so ago of what he thinks will happen (and he hates Floyd)...his fans beat the drums and chanted the entire fight--and he had A LOT of fans in Vegas that came over. Conor's will be no different. And I don't think it will make a lot of difference that night. Something Mayweather has been through 49 times. A bunch of people hoping he loses, but he's too good. He's definitely wayyyyy better than this guy at boxing. 40 isn't old anymore.

Those 3 lb dumbbells don't seem like a lot of weight but they are killers if you aren't used to them and are doing a lot of rounds.
You actually have to work your way up to them by using 1lb and 2lb weights first, as crazy as that sounds. But this exercise is perfect for building up punching endurance.
Guys who have a hard time keeping their hands up in the later rounds due to fatigue would do well to train this way.Last edited by ShoulderRoll; 08-11-2017, 01:52 AM.

I haven't seen the fight where he got kneebared but I'm guessing he lost his cool in that one also.
In the rematch with Nate Diaz, Conor was far from cool and collected the whole fight. He panicked at the end of the second and at other times lost his cool and turned his back to run away. It was a nice win for McGregor but I certainly wouldn't describe his performance in Diaz 2 as calm and collected or cool and calculated.
