Those 3 lb dumbbells don't seem like a lot of weight but they are killers if you aren't used to them and are doing a lot of rounds.
You actually have to work your way up to them by using 1lb and 2lb weights first, as crazy as that sounds. But this exercise is perfect for building up punching endurance.
Guys who have a hard time keeping their hands up in the later rounds due to fatigue would do well to train this way.

Conor is always cool and calculated in his fights. His last fight with Alvarez being a great example. You're overanalyzing by thinking that because Conor can get emotional a lot of the time that he doesn't know to switch it off and compose himself when need be.
