Floyd Mayweather Jr. drop some verbal combinations in the direction of promotional rival, Golden Boy Promotions CEO Oscar De La Hoya. The two of them were heated rivals when they were active fighters, with Mayweather winning a close twelve round split decision over De La Hoya in a record-setting pay-per-view event in 2007.

lol he had to bring in personal stuff. Can anybody find where Oscar talks about floyd beating his baby mommas ass, going to jail or racist comments against pacquiao? Floyd really needs to think about where he would be if it wasnt for oscar

        Damn...everything said here was factual.

The sad part is Oscar would still bow down and make a Canelo 2 fight with Floyd.

Oscar made floyd and pacquiao the stars that they are. They both needed a win over him to reach that superstar level.

Perfect point, but Floyd still dropped some ether here.

They don't owe him anything. He didn't do them a favor. They were the biggest money and name recognition fighters around at the time. Who else could De La Hoya fight to draw the kind of PPV numbers he did with Floyd? The answer is NOBODY. It was all about business, no favors were done. Why should he be thankful?

Mayweather has done unforgivable amounts of damage to our sport. But no one can on earth can blame him for taking this fight. Especially not De La Hoya. Not even the Saint of all Saints would turn down hundreds of millions dollars for such a pathetically easy fight. At some point in time a great MMA fighter was always going to step into a boxing ring and fight a great Boxer. Let it be now. Let the gullible masses waste their money. Accept the collateral damage such a fight does to the sport, and let the sport move on once and for all.

He still made them into the superstars they are today... Oscar is the true GOAT when you think about it.

Oscar just needs to call it a day on everything related to Mayweather. At the end of the day Mayweather is on another level.

The crazy thing is Golden Boy Promotions is about to have a very successful year. They sold over a million pay per views with Canelo vs Chavez Jr., there Canelo vs GGG will surpass those numbers I bet. He finally got a nationally televised 2 year deal with ESPN, and still has fights on HBO, Estrella, and has his Ring TV platform. Is acquiring more talent still with his company.

So again why is Oscar complaining?
