They don't owe him anything. He didn't do them a favor. They were the biggest money and name recognition fighters around at the time. Who else could De La Hoya fight to draw the kind of PPV numbers he did with Floyd? The answer is NOBODY. It was all about business, no favors were done. Why should he be thankful?

Exactly, prior to fighting FLoyd or Manny, Oscar only had to 2 PPVs that did over a million buys. Floyd was on his way to become a star on his own as soon as he left Arum. Hopkins and Mosely both defeated Oscar and they never were the attraction that Manny and Floyd were.

That's not true, they were both on their way to become bigger stars than Oscar. Oscar has 4 PPVs over a million buys and 2 of them were with Manny and Floyd. Oscar was never on the level that Floyd and Manny were. If beating Oscar made you a superstar, what happen to Mosely and Hopkins?
