When he was running like a b1ch against Hagler he showed you that he only cared about your money and the W not your love. Great fighter but he dont deserve much love.

Just to name a few non blacks.
Get off your high horse panther
I was only half-kidding. Given the racial nature of this board.

But I suspect you've named not some, but ALL the "non-blacks" you can think of who might rate best all-time in a given weight class.

NOBODY would argue for any non-blacks at HW.

Duran and Chavez are totally arguable. There aren't many non-black options at those weights, but tons of black ones.

Which is pretty good for 12% of the American population.

I can't believe you put Greb as #1 MW.

Monzon, arguably. But the other options at MW are all black, and there are lots and lots of them.

          Floyd Mayweather

Dominated for 15 years. Never lost or even came close to losing apart from Castillo 1. What other fighter even came close to doing what Floyd did in the sport of boxing? He outclassed Cotto, Pacquiao, De la Hoya, Mosley, Canelo, Hatton, Corrales. People say they were passed prime yet Floyd was older than half of them. Him not taking punishment over the coarse of his career and be fresh at the age of 38 should only add to his legacy IMO

No wins over great opponents in their prime.

This places Floyd -- who is still great -- beneath those who beat guys like Benitez and Hearns in their primes.

            Floyd never did that.

He beat a lot of small tiny little dudes like Marquez and Pacman. And past primers like DLH.

All good, but still. Check your history. Floyd isn't the first great boxer.

                  Was Floyd prime in 2015? 2010? 2002?

His whole career was his prime. Dominated from start to end. That is what makes him so great. He was 38 when he fought Pac and everyone was talking about Pac being passed prime. Not 38 years old with a record of fighting bums or no hopers but fighting top level guys his whole career.

Historic boxers will always be regarded higher than current ones. In 20 years time people will talk about Floyd like you guys talk about Leonard, Duran etc

Sorry, were you going to name a great opponent in HIS prime that Floyd beat?

I'm not talking about Floyd's prime. I'm looking for victories over other great fighters in their prime.

Never lost to or ducked any great fighters either. Lets punish Floyd for not having Leonard or Duran in his era...
