Calling Wilder/Joshua a Superfight might be an overreach. Yes, we all want it to happen for one reason or another but it's not a Superfight. Joshua is on the cusp of super but there is nothing super so far from Wilder, I'd rather call it the biggest HW fight on the horizon.Comment

I don't like accusing anyone of PEDs but Pacquiao is one of the best examples of someone that fits the profile.
Pacquiao fans accusing Marquez or anyone else of PED use is like that old pot and kettle scenario.Comment

EXACLY!! I don't like calling any boxer a cheat without them failing officially.
JMM this last fight said he would do every test Pac does. Pac decided they didnt need extra testing done.
I could see some of these RTARDS well ypur guy cheated longer!!! Or my guy does less because look he's not at muscular!!!
The thing that's does raise the flag on Pac the most is when he wouldn't do blood testing the 1st time him and Floyd were gonna fight before 30 days? Originally Floyd brought it up to 7 days before fight. Pac still said no. Then Floyd said ok 12 or 15 days (Can't remember which) but final offer. Pac still said no.
When it was 1st brought up BOTH Bob Arum AND Roach said NO problem on RECORD. When Pac said no days later. They back peddled faster than Lance Armstrong and then Agreed with Pac.
Man I WISH I kept their interviews saved...Last edited by Shadoww702; 08-10-2017, 04:25 PM.Comment

Of course Floyd won't get credit if he beats Conor, a man in his first ever pro boxing match. He's supposed to beat him, ain't he?
And of course, if Floyd doesn't beat Conor, his reputation will be smashed to smithereens!
There is literally nothing for Floyd in this fight except the money, and the pressure to win/penalty for not winning balance will be unreal for him.
The best - I would say the only - chance Conor has is for Floyd to succumb to that pressure and do something dumb, like going for a KO in the early rounds and giving Conor chances while he's still fresh enough to take them.
Hopefully, Floyd's experience and street survival instincts will keep him sensible and he'll give that arrogant young fool a boxing lesson!
you mean....., like every other fight in his stellar career..... ?
I really wouldn't worry about that too much, he eats that stuff up
if Floyd gets old, then he gets old.....
I am rooting for McTapper, just for the spectacle/craziness..... but I know he won't win
and even if he does get lucky, poor lil Floyd can always cuddle his money as he rocks himself off to sleep at night..... that will not affect his legacy too much, he is old..... Pac just lost to a mid-level tough-guy in Jeff Horn, and that will not affect his legacy too much eitherComment

I thought that was very apt! Loma has the same ability Calzaghe had to open up crazy angles and box on the front foot, back foot, inside, outside, whatever ... but without any of the wild sloppiness Joe was sometimes prone to. He moves smoothly and with unflappable composure, like Sweet Pea.
that is exactly what I thought when I read that
he also has unreal confidence and faith in his ability like CalzagheComment

Hi Breadman. These articles are suspect....
What up bro? I’m a Mexican from Houston and I have no problem admitting Marquez was a PED user. It’s the most obvious case of ROIDS in boxing. Come one Bread. You’re giving him a break. I know you don’t write stories and you just do mailbags so I will give you a slight pass. But Marquez didn’t win the title until he was 30. He needed “gear” to give him longevity and keep his explosiveness. His most celebrated victory is a PED induced fight. I look at users like police officers are looked at when they are caught planting evidence. All of their cases go under speculation or get thrown out. That’s how I look at obvious PED users. By the way I have an obvious list of users but I won’t list them yet. I want you to answer Marquez specifically. In your opinion do you think he was on PEDs?
Bread’s Response: Look man I can’t say a fighter who didn’t fail a test is on PEDs. It’s just not ethical. But I will say, you can’t fail a test that you don’t take. I will also admit the body transformation at the late age and delay on testing in the Bradley fight is su****ious. But I won’t go further than that….
I will also say one of the reasons the media gives Marquez a pass on PEDs is because they suspected Pacquiao of being on them.
If you knew boxing, you could've pointed out these obvious things to that 'poster..'
Hopkins, 30 years of age World Title
Marquez's style is a particular, why didn't you correct the poster's theory with this....
Born July 31, 1939. Beristain trained Mexico’s amateur boxing teams at the 1968, 1976 and 1980 Olympic Games.
In the pro ranks he has piloted 18 champions, including Gilberto Roman (super flyweight), Victor Rabanales (bantamweight), Guty Espadas, Jr. (featherweight), Rodolfo Lopez (featherweight), Melchor Cob Castro (light flyweight), Jorge Paez (featherweight), Jorge Arce (light flyweight), Rafael Marquez (bantamweight and super bantamweight), Juan Manuel Marquez (featherweight, super featherweight and lightweight) and Hall of Famers Ricardo “Finito” Lopez (strawweight and light flyweight), Humberto “Chiquita” Gonzalez (junior flyweight) and Daniel Zaragoza (bantamweight and super bantamweight).
Beristain has a reputation for developing fighters highly regarded for their technical boxing prowess. He is also a proponent of combination punching that ends with the uppercut.
bread likely did not want to get into it, based on speculation
he brushed it off and said you don't look at one guy without questioning the other..... he also pointed out that neither of those guys have ever failed a test, so speculating is pointless..... but refusing/delaying blood testing is more su****ious than anything else
I think that was pretty solid from bread as he has tiptoed around controversy in the past, likely for the exact same reason everyone else does..... to play the middle line, offend nobody, while increasing popularity/viewership
I think that bread keeps it more real than most, as evidenced by this article
funny pic but
I don't get how bread insists that Golovkin is feared/avoided..... sure some guys were in no hurry to face him, but Golovkin did absolutely nothing to make those fights other than possibly Martinez..... he was always going to have to make concessions for the smaller superstars, but he totally refused..... which is on him

but Breadman had done technical scenarios before. Of course as of late there's been casual or practical hating on Marquez regarding retirement... I doubt Marquez requested that particular cake anyways, though hilarious to see.bread likely did not want to get into it, based on speculation

like I said, Hopkins at 30 won a world title, the poster is telling Breadman that Marquez won it too, late, at 30, and it's somehow impossible for a very technical fighter to knock out Pac. I mean Martinez's KO over Williams was basic reflex on who can strike faster, pull the trigger..
Marquez is a NOTORIOUS backfooter on counters. He slides back with his left how can anybody not know that? It gives leverage to counter back nicely. I still got Breadman suspect bruh...Comment
