When JCC fought his 50th fight he fought Roberto Collins Lindo who was 1-15. Did he "deserve" 50-0?

But the point is, this really SHOULD be called just a exhibition match, not a full blown fight on either guy's record. Just like it shouldn't add to McGregor's MMA fight record, it shouldn't add to Floydie's boxing record.Comment

BTW, here's a very interesting bit about one of Marciano's 1952 fights vs Bernie Reynolds, a 51-9-1 fighter at the time:
Reynolds gave a very good account of himself. He clearly outfought Marciano in round one. The second round was a slugfest, and Marciano's powerful punches were slowing Bernie in the latter stages. Marciano came out to end it in round three but Reynolds was still punching strongly. A terrific right to the jaw which actually lifted Reynolds off of his feet ended it. The arena was a bedlam of excitement as the referee finished his count. Attendance was 4,528 and the gross gate was $12,586.
So, IOW, tickets averaged THREE DOLLARS EACH! Ah for the good old days.
