The Bobfather is gonna be bitter about Floyd leaving until the day he dies He'll always hold a grudge because Floyd also exposed him and his company and what they do to fighters, plus he embarrassed his biggest cash cow and as of right now he has no PPV draws. Plus Mayweather is worth twice as much as him and makes more in 1 night than his company can make in several years. This upsets him.

It's understandable why he's so bitter, but as a 90 year old, he needs to let it go.

Every boxer that could and possibly should have had a shot at Mayweather have the right to be aggrieved with a boxer not getting that opportunity.

Every promoter that is sounding off negatively about this event is only jealous that they did not come up with the idea of making an event out of a boxing superstar and a UFC superstar and banking the $100m+ for each fighter. Only Canelo could possibly do that kind of figure. Pacquaio is finished but could have done decent numbers if he didn't go over to Australia. Outside of those 3, who are all cash cows for different teams, nobody else could generate those figures. So put simply you snooze you lose. Could have made those moves years ago Oscar and Bob.

Of course the event is a joke and I will not refer to it as a boxing match. It's more of an exhibition of how entertainment should be. Definitely not how it should be priced. Well for the Americans and that $100 tag anyway. Good thing for the UK folks is it's just another PPV event under £20.

Still if numpties want to pay for it, let them. I won't. I'll be sticking to my high quality streams and spend the £20 on chicken wings and pizza for the event.

He's absolutely right but anyone who has any knowledge about boxing understands that Floyd's record needs to be taken in the proper context when discussing his place among the greats. The fact that he'll earn his 50th win against a guy who's never boxed professionally before is the icing on the cake and very befitting of his career.

Chavez got a DQ Loss from an early fight that was overturned due to corruption...and who cares if he got the record? JCC is an amazing fighter, and having an early blemish on his record won't change that.
