Comments Thread For: Hearn Maintains Path is Being Mapped Out To Joshua-Wilder

Eddie Hearn believes that IBF World, WBA Super World and IBO heavyweight titlist Anthony Joshua (19-0, 19 KOs) will meet WBC holder Deontay Wilder (38-0, 37 KOs) next summer as long as both men continue to rack up wins.

Good luck getting Wilder to agree to that.

He is the biggest chickenshit in boxing and a disgrace to the WBC belt.

Wilder should honour his mandatory with Stiverne to pave the way for Wilder vs AJ next summer.

I don't see why it can't happen in Nov like Wilder suggested.

While normally unifications trump mandatories, this case both belt organizations are refusing to allow it because the mandatories have been outstanding for a while.

He could give up both belts and fight Wilder of course, but I think both sides want the belts on the line.

The H/W division appears to be in a state of total confusion yet again due to the corrupted mafia sanctioning bodies. Memo to Eddie Hearn: Please match Joshua/Wilder in Las Vasus, with Ortez VS Pulev on the undercard. Wilder has stated that he wants it & there's no issue with AJ wanting it."Come on Eddie you Essex tart, you reckon you're supporting the sport & the fans, so let's have it"!!..............................
