Everybody wants Joshua so the fact that it's reported that Parker wants Joshua is a moot point. Everybody wants Joshua because Joshua is the cash cow... but then Parker has also talked about a fight with Wilder too though.
If Wilder can offer equal (or better) terms for Parker to fight him rather Joshua why wouldn't Parker take it?
All it would take is for Wilder to accept that Parker gets the vast majority of the purse and Wilder and his team chalk it up to the notion that you've got to spend money to make money.
They could potentially lose money against Parker, but then if the fight with Joshua is for all the belts they'd then be in a position to get a bigger slice of that pie and would most likely make back what they lost against Parker.
Essentially, paying over the top for Parker would be nothing more than an investment in order to get bigger returns.Comment

You're expecting Joshua to drop both of his titles to make the Wilder fight happen now?
Can guarantee that you and any other Wilder fans would not even consider that for one second if the shoe was on the other foot. Not when he can fight in around 8 months time with all his belts still intact.Comment

If the shoe were on the other foot you'd be calling Wilder a coward and a ducker.....a boxing businessman and not a warrior.Comment

Why would he do that when both camps are basically set for Joshua-Pulev and Wilder-Ortiz for October/November?The H/W division appears to be in a state of total confusion yet again due to the corrupted mafia sanctioning bodies. Memo to Eddie Hearn: Please match Joshua/Wilder in Las Vasus, with Ortez VS Pulev on the undercard. Wilder has stated that he wants it & there's no issue with AJ wanting it."Come on Eddie you Essex tart, you reckon you're supporting the sport & the fans, so let's have it"!!..............................
Wilder still owes the WBC mandatory (with some assist, we could see Stiverne fighting Dillian Whyte under Wilder's fight, with the winner fighting Wilder in early 2018), but it's not all that complicatedComment
