You actually think GGG will lose this fight? There's zero KO threat from Canelo and I don't see him going 12 rounds without a knockdown or two.

I'm not sold he is slick enough to box GGG for 12 rounds. I know Jacobs has people thinking GGG's power is exaggerated but Danny is a big dude and is much slicker than Canelo (when he wants to be). Help me out, I don't think you're a blind troll so I need some help on this one. What am I missing?

He was 165 lbs on fight night. The fight prior and after he was 170+.

I don't remember if it was you who said he knows about lifting and does bulks/cuts, but I'm sure if it was, even you would agree that as a result of his ****** cut, he was fatigued, loss muscle mass, and was physically weaker.

But that's his own damn fault, for fighting at that weight.

100% agree! The fact that Kigali said that canelo offering the 152 cw then saying he was not drained because there was no rehydration clause... tells us all it wasn't him the one who knows about bulking/cutting and the effects it has on your body. But I do agree with you

He was young and overconfident; his entire team was. I remember May-canelo was one of those super fights that I just couldn't get excited about the way that one should with a super fight. Nothing about the Mosley and Trout performances told me he was going to **** with Floyd. His activity levels were dreadful, and looked even worse with the weight cut. He has improved since then, it's not a pat on the back tho - he was 22/23, he SHOULD improve in 4 years! But for those saying Floyd fought the same version, that's like saying Floyd fought the same Canelo as Larry Mosley fought in '08.

Hand speed, boxing iq, timing, counters, body work, experience going 12 rounds... all favor canelo.

Yeah sure, it would of been closer than it was though as he would've been stronger at the full 54 and maybe carried his energy a little better. I think he would of still lost... but canelo never made an excuse of the weight being the issue, he said it was the experience of mayweater and I agree

I just rewatched this fight last night, even though canelo lost he didn't respect floyds power and for whatever reason was trying to outbox Floyd. Floyd on the other hand was very cautious of canelos power.

From I've seen canelo fights absolutely the same since that fight, he just has more experience in championship fights.

Canelo seems to pride himself of being the superior boxer so in the triple g fight I see him doing the same and try to outbox triple g but this time he will actually have a guy who is not scared of his power, can't wait for the fight.

I agree 100% with everything you said here. He definitely sees himself as a pure boxer. Similar to James Toney imo. Nothing outstanding, but just a solid all around talent.

Not sure about the boxing IQ. GGG is pretty savy at making adjustments imo. Definitely giving the edge in body work to GGG too. The other points, you might be right on though.
