weak ratings. Loma isnt a draw, even his HBO ratings were less then avg for HBO. You add a crap mismatch, late start time because top rank ran a swing bout to delay the broadcast until the NFL hall of fame was over. Basically a disaster and confusing for fans who were channel surfing back and forth from ESPN and ESPN2.

i actually had an argument about this topic with someone... It seems gb has put a gag order on boxing scene thats why they never release numbers.... Pbc on fox sports and showtime are always released... I bet oscar is part owner in boxing scene...

no figueroa and guerrero are not that promotable anyway.... Broner nad garcia was promoted very well... They were both on espn first take and sports center... Also on sports illustrated and cbs sports.... Figueroa and guerrero was just a filler card.... I was expecting 1 million plus but not suprised at all at 900k

That's because of that ****** NFL hall of fame special bored everybody to sleep and it overlapped the top rank boxing on my recording. I'm not a real fan of Lomachenko but I'm pretty sure that played a factor in it. The NFL don't need to televise a hall of fame induction that long that was ridiculous.

1) Loma is not a well known fighter
2) Total mismatch
You put those 2 together and you get piss ratings. Simple math.

Nobody watches the HOF ceremony. Nobody. And the numbers reflect that. So that definitely wasn't the cause for the bad numbers. It was the event itself.

Really, all this showed was that ESPN doesn't care about boxing. That ceremony runs over every year so they new in advance that they were going to move the fights around but barely warned their viewers. Crawford-Indongo will be fine. But after that, I have my doubts.
