    Lame attempt.
Can you list the skills and level of competition that would make him great? Never mind that, list one, just ONE great fighter he has fought in his entire career? What makes him P4P?

I will be rooting for BJS.

I haven't given up on Brook, but he won't be fighting again for a while.

AJ is ok, but Tyson Fury is the best HW in the UK, and anywhere else.

I support Golovkin, because I'm a boxing fan, and he is the most exciting, entertaining boxer in the world.

Yes, I have the luxery of many choices when it comes to supporting my country's fighters, because we produce them like this:

Golovkin is a great fighter (small "great", not big GREAT like Sugar Ray Leonard or Marvin Hagler) because he dominates his weight class, goes for the knockout and gets it almost every time. He has special power -- coming largely from accuracy and timing -- solid footwork, cuts off the ring, controls distance -- all very solid, competent, and all employed with the goal of destroying his opponent.

He's doing all those things against whom? Can you name ONE great, semi-great, or close to P4P fighter he has fought?

Again it is an opinion. I don't throw the word "great" around often so my criteria might be a bit tougher than someone else's. I wouldn't go bananas hearing someone use the word "great" to describe a guy who is undefeated, had a spectacular Olympic career, KO'd 33 out of 37 opponents and virtually on everyone's P4P list in boxing. I may disagree with their assessment but that doesn't make them a casual. That makes me think that the one calling them a casual is a little full of themselves or on the Golovkin hater bandwagon (maybe both).

33 KOs against whom? I asked for one great or even semi-great fighter that he has fought? You can't answer it, and that's fine. Stating facts doesn't make one a hater. I just don't buy the fake hype without the accomplishments to prove it.

The word "great" has lost its meaning when used for fighters who have done NOTHING great in their whole career. Wade types or a little higher don't qualify.

[By the way, the one time he fought some decent B level fighter in Jacobs, many thought he lost. I agree with that opinion. So, how is he great if he can't even beat B level fighters?]

Hey if you want to post videos or images of men with boners in all kinds of wrestling be guest. You should probably write a report how long wrestling has surfaced the earth. Pugilism doesn't even date from your beck of the woods and has more common roots To Mediterranean culture. You bring up classic Turkish wrestling when my country also competes in modern day wrestling including the Olympics

I actually don't put Golovkin in the "great" category yet. Again you don't seem to get it. I have no arguments saying he isn't "great". What I'm arguing is saying that it makes a person a "casual" if they say he is. Saying someone is "great" isn't a fact it is an opinion. What are the facts someone could use to support their argument are some of the ones I stated earlier. Those numbers regardless of who he is fighting are among the best of all time in the division. I could argue that he he would have beat guys like Martinez or Cotto if they didn't avoid him that's how "great" he is.

Giving an opinion doesn't make one a casual. Not being able to provide a coherent argument makes someone a casual.
