They said he's at Mayweather's gym until the end of August and is going to be helping him out. I'm guessing for the size difference?

      ummm, I guess..... ?

been trying to figure that out

no expert, but..... I would have thought that a tricky/unorthodox southpaw around 160'ish, would be ideal.....

my guess is you're right, they are using Eubank for size/pressure

to sharpen up and get accustomed to that size/pressure

they likely want a good mix of top guys in that camp..... Floyd will learn nothing at this stage, and southpaw is not an issue..... they just need to be sharp/on point

A lot of (what I feel) is exactly right. Everyone likes to tote the fact that he's a southpaw, but he's a southpaw that is an amazing UFC fighter, but he's also 0-0 as a boxer and hasn't fought a boxing match since he was a teenager, admittedly. Something else everyone loves to talk about is Mayweather being off for 2 years, but Conor's rust will be just as bad, as he hasn't fought in a year. Floyd's people get in the right sparring partners. Conor's tried, but that didn't work out so hot. So they're back to confidence builders (it looks like).

so, Mayweather is sparring a form super-middleweight.....

..... and Conor is sparring an old blown-up 140lb'er?

I wonder what would happen if McGregor sparred Eubank ?
